Joomla allows editing modules and articles using the frontend editing tool. In order to enable this option you should follow the steps, listed below:
- Navigate to site admin panel, go to System -> Global Configuration -> Site tab, and look for the ‘Mouse-over edit icons for’ option under the Site Settings section
- Select ‘Modules&Menus‘ in the drop-down list and save the changes.
- After this, go to site frontend, and log in as a user with administrator access level using the front-end login form.
Note: Alternatively, you can access the login page by adding the following part to your website URL: index.php?option=com_users&view=login
You will see an ‘Edit’ icon for each module and article on the site, so you just have to click on it to edit the modules or manage article’s settings.
