PrestaShop 1.7.x. How to manage CMS pages

  1. In your PrestaShop admin panel go to Design -> Pages section: PrestaShop 1.7. CMS pages.
  2.  Click the Add new CMS page button at the top to create a custom page with your own content:

    • Page Category – the default category is the home-page of your shop. If you want to have this page in another category, you should first create it in Catalog -> Categories menu in admin panel.
    • Meta title – the name of the page displayed in the browser.
    • Meta description – used to describe the content of the page for search engines.
    • Meta keywords – used by the search engines to understand what kind of information the page has.
    • Friendly URL – the field is automatically filled as you enter the category name, but you can still edit it manually.
    • Page content – the main content of your page.
    • Indexation by search engines – indicated whether the search engines should register this page or not.
    • Displayed – make the page public or not.
  4. Save the changes.
  5. Go to Design – > Link widget and look for the block which is currently displayed on your site. Click the Edit button to open the Block settings: PrestaShop 1.7.x. How to manage CMS pages
  6. Select the checkbox near the title of your newly created page to activate and make it visible on your site: CMS pages in PrestaShop 1.7
  7. Save the changes and check your website. You can find the link to your CMS page in the footer.
